Pereskia aculeata
Pereskia aculeata is a climbing plant and can get up to 20' (6 m) tall in frost free climates. It climbs by short hooked spines. One of the true leaf cacti, the leaves can be up to 4" long and start out each spring in an autumn boquet of golds, reds, bronze, and yellows. Later the leaves turn green and it blooms 1-2" white flowers tinged with pink.
