US CUSTOMERS have many choices for payment methods, PAYPAL, Google checkout, Checks and Money Orders. I cannot directly accept credit cards but it is easy to use your credit or debit card via Paypal and you do not have to have an account. Payment by check may delay your shipments until the payment clears our bank. The address for mailing payment is provided on checkout.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: I accept Bank Wire Transfers and payments via PAYPAL and Google. Email me for bank wire transfer details. There is a $45.00 fee for all incoming bank wire transfers. (bank charges, not me!)
SHIPPING in the US:
Right now shipping is via the USPS Priority Mail. We are working on setting up UPS and/or FedEx as alternatives. Postage is usually $8.50 for the first plant and $1.75 for each additional plant. There is no box charge or additional handling fees. A tracking number is provided for all shipments. Once plants/merchandise is packed and shipped we will refund any excessive overcharge of postage fees.
Many plants can be shipped in their pots with soil and should be but most succulents do well taken out of the pot and sent bare-root with a little soil or damp moss. For some such as Ceropegia bare-root is the best way to go since they are very fragile but can be held snugly in paper to reduce breakage.
SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY
Please understand that it may take much longer to ship your order when documents such as a phytosanitary or CITES certificate are needed. We try to get inspections done every other week as it is very time consuming to do paperwork plus wash all the plants for inspection.Shipping outside of the U.S. is via USPS Priority International Mail. Postage is $40.00 for the first plant plus $1-5 for each additional plant depending on weight or size. On small plants such as Ceropegia, etc., we may be able to ship in a small flat rate box at a lower charge. Please check with us if you have any questions or concerns. I will refund any excessive overcharge of postage once the plants are packed and weighed.
A Phytosanitary Certificate can be obtained for all international shipments at a cost of $154.00. We will ship to you without a Phyto if you wish but we cannot be held responsible for any lost or confiscated packages. All plants will be cleaned and free of soil, insects, and disease. All international customers are responsible for knowing the import regulations of their own countries and are responsible for any import duties. tariffs, or fees. If your country requires you to have an import permit, please send me a copy to include inside your package.
CITES - Endangered Plants: A CITES certificate is needed for all plants on the endangered species list including all Cacti, Aloe, Euphorbia and many others. Only Agave victoria-reginae requires a CITES certificate, all others only a phyto.
Plants will only be listed on the Phyto and CITES paperwork with their legitimate, commonly accepted botanical names. No names will be falsified or changed so please bear that in mind when ordering. Please check with your government to see if the plants you want are allowed to be shipped into your country. We will not be responsible for any disallowed or confiscated plants due to your country's import regulations. We will, however, look up your country's requirements for plant inspections and the inspector will certify the plants free of whatever disease or insect that is required by your country.
RETURNS:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase from us you may return your plant within 7 days of receipt. Receipt is determined by the tracking number and the USPS record of the date the package was mailed or delivered. Please return in the original package if possible or a similar package if the original was severely damaged in shipping.
Please remember that we have absolutely no control over the post office and their handling of packages and cannot be held responsible if a box was run over by a Mack truck or tossed around by the post office Gorillas. We do our best to use sturdy boxes and adequate packing material as we really do want you to receive a healthy, intact plant. Please email me if you plan to return an item so we can be on the lookout for it at the PO.
A refund will be issued for the original purchase price, not including postage. All costs will be refunded if the reason for return was that you received the wrong item by mistake on our part. Merchandise other than plants must be returned in their original condition, clean and unused.
