Encholirium horridum,a terrestrial native to northeastern Brazil, is in the Bromeliad family, subfamily Pitcairnioideae. It has long glossy light green leaves with short but sharp teeth along the leaf edges. Horridum is a xerophyte which means desert-like so should not be overwatered. Plant in well-drained soil in sun or part shade, grow as you would a Dyckia. OUT OF STOCK
