Ananas nanas is an actual pineapple plant closely related to those we eat. This one is ornamental and considered a dwarf by pineapple standards. It grows to about 12" wide and tall then sends up a tall shoot that blooms and forms a miniature pineapple on top. Plant in moist but well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Sold in 4-6" Pots
