Dyckia platyphylla

Dyckia platyphylla is a gorgeous succulent Bromeliad with short, wide, glossy green leaves that are striped in silver on the reverse side of the leaves, eventually growing to about 18" across. In spring and summer it sends up 24-30" spikes with pale orange flowers. D. platyphylla slowly spreads by forming small colonies and is reported hardy to 16F.
